FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

🛎️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

We have suspended delivery and distribution of music and video content to Russian services Yandex, UMA and SberZvuk, effective immediately. This decision will not affect content that has already been delivered to these platforms.

This is in addition to our recent announcement that we are no longer able to support royalty payments to Russian accounts.

Our hearts go out to all those affected by this atrocity. We pray for a swift and peaceful resolution.

We understand this is a difficult time and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Please reach out to us at support@audiowundr.com if you wish to discuss further.

🌎 RELEASING MUSIC

We have partnerships with all of the major streaming services, including Spotify, Apple, Pandora, Tik Tok, Instagram, Tidal, YouTube, Amazon, Deezer, SoundCloud, Peloton, and many more! Every day, we are on the lookout for new partnerships to help your songs be discovered. Your catalogue will automatically be updated to any new stores free of charge.

The turnaround time can vary from store to store. We recommend submitting your album at least 2 weeks prior to your intended release date. This gives enough time for us to ingest and deliver your tracks, and for the services to also ingest, index and display them on their own sites. We will advise you from your catalogue page if your release has been delivered to stores, but this does not mean the store itself has been able to get the tracks live on their site (which is out of our control).

Files must be in WAV format with a maximum file size of 250 MB per track. Only upload 16bit 44.1k, or 24bit 44.1k, 48k, 96k, 192k. 32bit WAV files are not accepted. An album can have a maximum of 25 tracks.

The artwork must meet the following requirements:

On your artwork, the name must match the title of the release. You must use a .jpg, .jpeg, or .png file format in RGB colour (not CMYK). Files must not exceed 10 MB in size. Dimensions of the image must be at least 3000 x 3000 pixels, and it must be square. You may not include social media links or website addresses in your art. The images will become blurry if you upsize them, so please avoid doing so.

Providing you have given at least 2 weeks for stores to ingest your release, if you have received a notification from us that your release has been successfully delivered and can’t find it on iTunes or Spotify, please contact us from your dashboard and we will investigate. If you are a brand new artist, the search indexing on these stores can take some time to update (especially on Friday’s which is global release day!), so it usually resolves itself throughout the day.

Yes, your music is stored safely in the system. We store and backup every music file you upload, which you can access any time you need. View your single or album from your MY CATALOGUE page, and you can play or download any of the audio tracks you have uploaded (just right-click and 'save file as').  To download your art files, just right click the album art on the main MY CATALOGUE screen and right-click 'save file as' to download the full resolution version.

We accept .WAV audio files in 16bit 44.1kHz resolution (CD Quality), and 24bit WAV files at the most common sample rates  We do not accept mp3 files or 32bit files.  You can convert other file types to WAV using iTunes or other web-based conversion apps.

If your release is on the wrong Spotify or Apple artist page (or another platform), please reach out to us using the contact form and we can fix it for you. This may involve creating a new artist page for you, or moving your release to the correct artist page.

📈 EARNINGS & INSIGHTS

Forever 100%. AudioWundr was built by artists for artists, to empower them and provide a level of transparency never before seen in the music industry.

Definitely! Statistics from Spotify and Apple Music are updated every day to reflect the previous day's streaming. Additionally, we display your skip rate, location of stream, and how many Shazams your track received.

Once you submit your work, you will find a section titled "PAYMENT SPLITS" that allows you to split royalties with as many collaborators as you need. For your collaborators to receive their royalty shares each month, AudioWundr's Unlimited Distribution plan is required.

All payments are posted between the 8th-10th of the month. From there, you can withdraw the payment amount directly to your bank account.

A small transfer fee is deducted by the bank during the transfer.

The average time is between 3-5 business days. This depends on the Bank receiving the payment.

You will be asked to fill out your bank details on your first withdrawal (i.e. account number and routing number). We can also payout to your CashApp in the same way.

💰 CASH ADVANCES

Anyone is open to apply, however eligibility depends on the amount of streaming data that we have to work with as well as social media presence. Your music needs to be distributed by AudioWundr, and be generating income on a monthly basis. Don't currently distribute with AudioWundr? No worries, we can still run the numbers and as long as you are able to switch to us you can still access all of the benefits of a Wundr Advance.

If you've got an amount in mind for your next project be sure to let us know, however prepayment amounts are individual to each artist and range from a few hundred dollars up to tens of thousands, depending on your current streaming numbers, expected future sales and future release activity.

A Wundr Advance is designed to help artists take the next steps in their music career. Unlocking your royalties early gives you the flexibility to record more often, purchase merch for your next tour, fund a tour, hire a PR or marketing expert, purchase equipment, or any other activity that can give your music a boost and take you to the next level.

No. This is about giving artists the resources to STAY independent. You still keep 100% of your copyrights - you won't be signing away your master rights or publishing like a traditional record deal. You'll remain in control of your creativity and artistic vision.

Fill out and submit the form that can be found on our cash advance page and we will contact you with further instructions!

A number of factors will determine your eligibility, including, but not limited to, how many streams you bring in on average and how active you are on social media.

Streams and sales of your catalog will pay back your cash advance. For example, if you receive an advance of $500, your monthly royalty earnings will be used to repay the $500 advance. When your advance is paid, you'll have the option of re-advancing yourself or returning to receiving your royalties monthly.

We look into stream reports and presence on social media. We utilize risk algorithms which assist in determining who is suitable for an advance.

An advance higher than the one we offer cannot be negotiated. There is an option to negotiate a lower advance with us if that's what you'd like. Earnings from your artist account are used to calculate advance offers. Upon approval, your music pays back advance payments. There is no obligation for you to repay an advance if your music does not pay it back.

We offer advance amounts anywhere from $100-$100,000. So even if you’re just starting out you’re able to apply!

Within 1-2 weeks once approved.

There is no impact on your credit and it is not a loan. Rather, your music will pay it back for you!

No interest! However, there will be a processing fee the banks require from us that will be added onto the amount your royalties pay back.

Your streams and sales pay back your advance! You will never need to recoup the amount yourself.

Yes! Sales will still be updated monthly.

Unfortunately, our risk management team determined that your catalog is ineligible at the present moment. Not to worry, though! Reapplying at any time is possible. We recommend promoting your music for another 90 days then re-applying.

Although you still retain full ownership rights over your music, we place a temporary hold on your catalog until the advance is paid back. During this period you’re unable to remove your songs off streaming services and stores.
